Although we have Tracker for ArcGIS App Licences, when I try to enable Location Tracking under our Organizations Extension, I get an error message "Unable to enable Location Tracking" Anyone's had this issues before and know how to fix it?
Hi Aaron, What if the search result is a location tracking hosted feature service owned by an administrator other than myself? Should I delete the item or change the owner (to myself) before enabling the location tracking? Regards,
I created a new Track Viewer, I'm administrator in ArcGIS Online Organization, but when I'm trying to add users for Who can see tracks in this view? appears another user of my organization as owner of the Track View, and I don't know why
I just started using Tracker with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 a few days ago. I am doing some testing on my Android Samsung S9 Note, Tracker Version 20.1.0 Build 2643 (always connected via wifi or cellular). I have yet to have the app upload data on it's own. I can successfully force an upload using the 'Upload now' process. I have had the app…(Show moreShow less)
Hi, I am wondering if Tracker for ArcGIS on Windows is in the development plans. We need to trace the position of our technicien who are working on mission surveys from their truck. They are equipped with Windows 10 laptop and high accuracy GPS. Also, do you have a date on the next Tracker release? Thank you, Line Champagne
Our Code Enforcement Officers are transitioning away from iPads to using ToughBook laptops (to enable the use of an enterprise system). We were planning a deployment consisting of Workforce and Tracker to have a better situational awareness and to have a better idea about how long we are at a given location. Are there plans for developing some…

Hi, We have a tracks view feature layer that I've shared with everyone and added as a layer in a web map/web app. However when that layer is turned on in the web app, the display immediately switches to the AGOL login. Can tracks not be shared with everyone? I see the location service does not allow this but I thought with a view it allows you…(Show moreShow less)
Thanks Aaron, For our surveys at least for this project there are no concerns with sharing the layer publicly. For the work around I have did create a new feature layer and have been uploading the downloaded tracks to that layer for sharing in the web app. Thanks for all your replies! I sure appreciate the responses as all of this is new to…
We have recently updated Tracker for ArcGIS on the iTunes App Store to improve support for iOS 13 and changes to location permissions. Please read our official blog article on the ArcGIS Blog Site for more details.
Hi Javza, Track Viewer does not support additional layers or drawing graphics. If you are using ArcGIS Enterprise you could configure notifications by configuring GeoEvent Server to read the last known locations and do server-side geo-fencing. You could do something similar with ArcGIS Analytics for IoT if you are using ArcGIS Online.
Hi, I've been posting a lot of questions here lately so thanks for your patience. I'm assisting with surveys remotely. One of our biologists was out collecting data today and they relayed the tracks were showing great in the Collector for ArcGIS app until about mid-survey when they disappeared. From what I understand, in the Tracker app the…(Show moreShow less)
Our understanding, is that the tracks would update in the map with the location since the surveys are taking place in a plane and we thought the tracks would update similar to your tracks in a boat chart plotter. It sounds like this is sort of true with the tracks in the Collector app but a person has to keep interacting with the map to view the…
Oh, I didn't realize you got your own ArcGIS Online organization with a personal use license. Tracker is a premium app so there is an additional license you need to purchase for each user of the mobile app. You can purchase the license through the Esri store here. Once your ArcGIS Online Organization has at least one Tracker license, you will be…
