Hi GeoNet Community Members – Whave two important announcements we want to share with you regarding a GeoNet maintenance downtime and a special GeoNet AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Dawn Wright happening this week.

Site-wide maintenance downtime for blog migration

Earlier this year, we shared news about migrating 5 blogs into GeoNetThe preliminary testing phase has completed and tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 6th, we will migrate the blogs into GeoNet which will require a maintenance downtime for the entire community from Dec. 6 @ 5:00 PM PT to Dec. 7 5:00 AM PT. During this time GeoNet will not be accessible and once the migration is complete we will conduct additional testing and a site-wide notification will be posted to confirm the migration and maintenance period is over.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions, please post them below.

Update: We completed the migration early this morning, for the most part it went well, but we are experiencing one issue related to space "followers." Currently followers of a space have been removed, nor are followed spaces showing on personal profiles under "places." We will keep you posted as we investigate this issue further.  Updated This issues has been resolved, thank you for your patience.

As part of our developing series of exclusive GeoNet online content experiences, we are excited to invite all members of the GeoNet Community to participate in our third GeoNet AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Esri Chief Scientist, Dawn Wright, on Friday December 8th from 10am-11am PT.
