I am using ArcGIS Pro. I have two land maps which are each polygon feature classes composed of multiple polygons. I want to erase overlapping features by using the erase tool. To ensure the erase has performed correctly, I perform a intersect between the newly erased layer and the feature class used for the original erase. There should be no…(Show moreShow less)
Hello, hope you are well. I have to be able to calculate the percentage of area in a polygon of a raster. I have created a slope map, and have one area that is less than or equal to a certain percent, and the rest is above that percent. I am tasked with figuring out what percentage is in each category. What tool or process can I use ? Thank you.
Hello, Is there any limitation for name of schema allowed to be used? I have PostGIS database, and when I make schema name be extremely short (less than 8?) i can see it from ArcGISPro'd catalogue. But longer schema name appears to hide contents in the schema.
I have absolutely no idea what this tool is looking for for an output extent. I have tried "default," "current map extent," and, the one I thought was bullet-proof - I entered the input contours. It is rejecting everything I throw at it. Would appreciate any advice anyone is able to offer. Thank you, Randy McGregor
I added a csv datasource to my project, but after adding it I found two problems. The first is that a column filled with numeric data had a "Grand Total" entry in the bottom row, so ArcGIS Pro intrepreted the column as text instead. The same column also had a non-descriptive heading label. I removed the datasource from ArcGIS Pro, open the csv…(Show moreShow less)
Did anyone figure out what's happening here? I'm running Pro 2.5.1 and noticing some similarly strange behavior where ArcGIS Pro appears to be 'remembering' something from old csv files. Basically I've got a jupyter notebook that generates a csv file from a pandas dataframe and then imports the csv into a geodatabase using the table to table…
In ArcMap Desktop ModelBuilder, you could control output symbology by selecting the output variable, "Properties" then selecting a layer file. I don't see this option in ArGIS Pro modelbuilder. Is it possible to control symbology of outputs with ArcGIS Pro modelbuilder? Sorry in advance if I am overlooking something obvious. Thank you, …(Show moreShow less)
Hello Randy McGregor, Instead of using apply sumbology from layer tool try setting it from the output of the tool. Does that work? Which part is not working? Can you please help share the snapshot of model, the layer range used to set and the value range of the data you are trying to set. Is the range different from what the layer it is…
I'm wanting to do what I used to be easily able to do in ArcMap and that's add in an LRS Event table that we have on SDE and then display those events on our LRS. In ArcMap all I had to do was add in our LRS (Add Data --> Add Database Connection --> Then add our LRS). Next was to then add the Event table we wanted to display on the…(Show moreShow less)
I have ArcGIS Pro 2.5.1 installed on a PC. Clicking the Settings within ArcGIS Pro shows that the version is 2.5.0. When I go to look at it in "Programs and Features", it says that version installed is 2.5.22081. (See screenshots below) Checking for updates is blocked on this PC, but the same issue occurs on PCs in our organization that…(Show moreShow less)
