Hi, I have a set of 3d point data (hydraulic conductivity according to performed drillings). I want to use this dataset for geostatistical interpolation. To be able to start with an investigation of my dataset I coloured the values with a gradient. I see my data as below. The datapoints are too close together in the vertical direction to be able…(Show moreShow less)
In the most recent (Sept) AGOL update it mentions that Point scene layers load and display up to two times faster by converting them to I3S version 1.7 This allows you to render scenes with large numbers of points more efficiently, such as when visualizing thousands of trees in a rural area. However when I try and run the i3s converter I get…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Andrew, Its been updated. Also, keep in mind only ArcGIS Online Scene Viewer supports points 1.7. ArcGIS Pro 2.6 will fall back to 1.6 so you wont see performance improvements until ArcGIS Pro 2.7. Feel free to let me know if you run into any issues! thanks, Andrew
Each time I offset this raster layer to the level of the multipatch, the area of the raster that intersects with the multipatch gets swallowed up. But I need the raster to show at all levels. The raster is a contamination surface within a lithology, so I want to show this contamination at different depths See image A (raster showing well when not…(Show moreShow less)

Hello, So I have a curious question in regards to changing animations based on attribute changes. I am working on a 3D project and I would like to enable different animations to trigger based on an attribute change in the 3D model. For example, and animation for an elevator as it changes floors in a facility. Any help on this would be greatly…(Show moreShow less)
Thanks Philips for letting me know. I wasn't sure if this capability existed or if there might be a work around for it. The reason being is that Geoevent only updates every 5 seconds at the max, at least as far as I remember, and I was looking for a way to show the transition a bit more smoothly. I figured that this isn't something available…
I've loaded two ahn2 dem's and although I can see the basemap in 3D many white spots appear, also there is a gap between them. What am I doing wrong? Same issue on two different computers/different hardware, so is this a driver thing?
Hello Victoria, Thanks for your reaction. The ground surface color is set to transparent. I have the dem's in my ground surface unlike your screenshot, I try to use them as better (more detailed) surface data than the world elevation3d surface And the Solution: I had switched off WorldElevation3D/Terrain3D which is necessary... Formulating…

Hi, I found this guide to import collada files into ArcGIS Pro (https://downloads.esri.com/learnarcgis/import-and-incorporate-3d-models-in-a-scene/import-and-incorporate-3d-models-in-a… ). The tutorial works fine, but I have the following issue: Is it possible to switch on and off single parts of a Collada file as it works here with the Revit…(Show moreShow less)
Hi there. We are working on adding 3d buildings to our ESRI Platform in our municipality. We have an external partner to do the modelling of the 3d buildings. They are almost finished and now they are asking which format we would like everything deliveret in? They are talking about SQLite format or PostGIS as possible options. Are there any…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Phil Thank you for the answer. I don't think the have the ability to deliver the data in a Multipatch feature, but I will look into this. Otherwise I should find a format I can import and then convert it to a Multipatch feature afterwards before adding it to our internal database.
