Hi, You need to deploy the solution to your ArcGIS online account or Enterprise organization. Then from there, you can download the solution package locally on your machine. Let me know if that works for you. Gert Get Outlook for Android<https://aka.ms/ghei36>
Hi, I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to build a TIN in ArcGIS from a shapefile made up of triangles with values attached to the triangles. Essentially I have a TIN in shapfile format and don't want or need any sort of interpolation of the data. All I want is to be view/use the TIN in ArcGIS. None of the tools under 3D Analyst Tools >…(Show moreShow less)

I have a shapefile of a 3d model with various attribute as a multipatch features. I need to export it to collada file, but when i am exporting it, the single attribute is generating a different collada file, but i want a single collada file.
How are you exporting it? look at this documentation:Multipatch To Collada—Conversion toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop Also, you mentioned you had the multipatch as shapefiles? Try multipatches inside of a geodatabase, as that may be the more supported file format.
I am trying to use an Esri Web Style, "3D Residential", in my Portal for ArcGIS WebScene: https://esri-styles.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=4e7dd1bc3af44a9ea2cba435e2c2f7f2 After I download it, I get a file called "3D_Residential_en.stylx" In my Pro project, I right-click styles>new style>navigate to the file. Someone recently marked my reply as helpful...but that reply was several years ago. If you want to publish a Revit model to AGOL today, there is a much better way! Within ArcGIS Pro, you can add the Revit model into your map as a Building Layer. And from that, you can create the rich Building Scene Layer. For more detail, search the help…
Why are LAS, and Terrain Datasets not acceptable formats as an elevation source? Terrain Dataset is an ESRI elevation surface format??? Converting these high resolution datasets to other formats is such a waste of processing time. Elevation sourcesAn elevation source contains the data that defines the elevation surface. An elevation surface can…(Show moreShow less)
Yeah I don't want to convert them to rasters and aggregate the elevation sources. Terrain are great for their scalability and visualization but what is the point if they can't be the elevation source in a 3D scene or view. The only reason you convert to rasters is for processing ease if you want an actual real representation of the elevation…
Hello, I am looking at the 'Import 3d Tool' but it is not doing what i suspect it must. I have a feature class with 4 point in the feature class there is a field with the name of the model i want to use "tree_1.flt". If i run the tool it only places my 3d model on the first feature in my feature class. Is this correct ? Thank you. …(Show moreShow less)
Esri NLD helpt me with this question and Esri is going to 'fixing' this tool. they have made a request: ENH-000120948 [Enhancement] Request for the improvement in ‘Import 3D Files’ tool so that a 3D file can be imported at multiple point locations in ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro and put it on 'implemented'. We can see this fix in Arcgis Pro 2.5…
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to generalize the multipatch output from LAS Building Multipatch. I know that this is how its supposed to look, but in trying to minimalize the amount of vertical streaks and jagged edges but at the same time keep a general roof form. My footprints have already been regularized and look great. …(Show moreShow less)
ArcMap 10.6.1 Step 1: I create a new feature class 'TEST' with 3D data (RD new, NAP) Step 2: Use the editor and add 1 feature, where one of the Z-values is not zero. Step 3: Create a view with: SELECT * FROM TEST Step 4: Try to 'Register with Geodatabase' Step 4 fails. If I delete the feature and add a new feature where the Z-values are…(Show moreShow less)
