This is the official release of the 2019 Edition of the Utility and Pipeline Data Model (UPDM).    It is designed to support data management for the natural gas and hazardous liquids industries.  Supporting the diverse needs of these industries means supporting multiple implementation patterns.  Specifically a network topology with the Utility…

. I currently have FuturaGIS for Electric Utilities. It runs on ESRI ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 . I want to add a web based platform as a part of my GIS capabilities. I want to give others in my organization the ability to view (NOT EDIT) data, create maps, and possibly run analysis. Is it possible to connect a Microsoft Access Database to ArcGIS Online… (Show more)

I'm not sure what to do with some data we collect about our junction boxes.  I can't seem to find a field/domain in the default schema.  With our junction boxes we are collecting data such as: LoadBreak = Yes/No PullThrough = Yes/No J-Bars = 3Way/4Way/NA Unibar = Yes/No   This data is useful for our planners to know if they can tap into a… (Show more)

Hello guys!   I have been actively working in the field of Utility Mapping in the GIS. Till date we are involved in simply mapping equipment and lines in the utility. However, we would like to take our project forward by integrating the SCADA which stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition software with the GIS. While GIS provides… (Show more)

We are a small electric utility that has Sensus AMI meters. We are brainstorming some ideas and want to see what other utilities have done to connect directly to their AMI meters from their GIS. We know about GeoEvent Server, but are wondering if there are other options out there? We would like to stay away from static data dumps. So some of our… (Show more)
