Currently the extent (dimension) of image-map appearance when displaying svg images as clickable items is dependent on both the image dimensions and device type/orientation. For example, a wide svg image (e.g. 21:9) has significant white space above and below when being displayed in portrait mode (e.g. phone). The white spaces created unnecessary scrolling for the users. If we can set the extent manually, even if just the height/width ratio of the extent, we will be able to control ho …
It would be great to have a transparency tool in the Explorer for ArcGIS mobile app. I generate .mmpk files with vector geology layers overlying geophysical imagery (as a .tpk base layer). It would be useful to make the geology layers transparent over the geophysical imagery instead of simply switching layers on and off (current functionality). Geology (vector layers): Geophysical Imagery (.tpk) Would be ideal to make transparent in the mobile app.

I am working with a layer that contains overlapping polygons. When I make the layer transparent I would like to be able to see the boundaries of the polygons underneath (within the same layer) that are hidden by the overlapping polygons. This would make editing of overlapping polygons much easier. Other options: Removing the fill allows you to see the underlying polygons but makes it difficult to tell what is inside and what is outside the polygon. Using cross-hatching also allows you to s …

It would be great if Esri could implement the "Create Feature Class from XY Table" functionality from the ArcCatalog interface as a method directly available in ArcPy/Python for automation. I know that this can be done with the MakeXYEventLayer_management method in ArcPy, and I have worked with it all the time in ArcPy, but that is a bit klugey in terms of coding it because it is designed more so for working with layers in memory and the ArcMap interface (granted, it works even if not in the Ar …

When using the Spatial Analyst Contour Tool using a multi-resolution (mosaic dataset) raster surface as the input, resampling can occur that results in poor quality, jagged contour line output. This happens when lower resolution data gets automatically resampled to the same as the higher resolution data, which uses nearest neighbor by default. If the tool was aware of the resampling environment, then bilinear resampling could be used to generate much more pleasing results.

Give users the ability to create a favorite tools list in ArcMap. We could mark the tools we use most and not have to keep wasting time navigating to them in ArcToolbox or searching for them in the Search. For example mine would look like: Favorite tools: Spatial analyst Intersect Project Symmetrical Difference Buffer Erase

ArcGIS with ArcMap is currently able to view and join tables with MS Access tables and MS Excel tables (for both Worksheets and Named Ranges). Why is this useful feature gone in ArcGIS Pro? Please bring this needed feature back.

We use ArcGIS Pro 2.2 to publish our Mobile Map Package (mmpk), which then gets consumed by Explorer for ArcGIS. Right now, there is no way to configure what value(s) get displayed in the Explorer for ArcGIS results window upon a search. For example, when we run a search on a Corrosion System ID in Explorer, what we are hoping to see displayed in the Results Window are all of the Corrosion Test Station feature IDs that are under that System ID. Instead, what we currently get returned in the …
