In ArcMap, under Scale Settings, there is an option for "Only display these scales when zooming". I would like to see this option added to ArcGIS Pro. If you have maps that are optimized for viewing at the standard ArcGIS Online / Bing Maps / Google Maps scale levels, they may not look so good at other scales. So it can be nice to use only the scales in your list when zooming with the mouse wheel or zoom in/out buttons.

I do see that ESRI has provided pre-bundled Amazon AMIs on Ubuntu, but I do not see official support for Ubuntu as a supported installation via a traditional installation. I would like to build my own custom AMI using Ubuntu but am hesitant to do so unless ESRI has officially supported the OS. Thanks.

I think it would be nice to have some tools or reports available for feature layers within AGO / Portal that display which web maps a particular feature layer is contained within. If I remove a feature layer from our Organization, I'd like to be able to quickly find out which web maps are affected so I can also remove the layer from the web map.

In some maps it would be nice to be able to show a pop-up for a feature layer when an address is searched. An example would be a Ward Map. When the address is searched, the Ward pop-up for that address is shown rather than the address itself. Better yet, one pop-up to show the address searched as well as the Ward number.

I really like the ArcGIS pro software, the only think that is currently holding me back switching from ArcMap are 2 things. For digitizing images, maps and drawings, the raster clean up and arcscan toolbar functions are a very useful tool to have and it can automate many line features. Unfortunately I have not been able to find this functionality in ArcGIS Pro, and very much hope that it will be build in in the future. (the other thing that i miss is the batch mode feature in modelbuilder, but …

Hello, With Arcpy it is possible to enable Time on a MXD's feature layers. This can be done with the 'UpdateLayerTime' utility from the 'arcpy.mapping'. We also want this utility for tables! After support from Esri, it is confirmed that it is not possible to enable Time on a MXD's tables. Some extra info, when you put a MXD's table in the UpdateLayerTime utility you get an error. We would like to get the feature to enable Time on tables with Arcpy. With kind regards, Cees van Alten …

In ArcGIS Pro, when you open an attribute table, there is a row of buttons immediately above the field names. This includes buttons to Add, Delete and Calculate Fields. In the normal course of using ArcGIS Pro, I often would use the 'Calculate' button. But the other two seem a bit dangerous to leave there for the casual user. I can't tell you the number of times I've selected a record, gone to delete it and clicked the 'Delete Field' button! Bad enough for me who can fix it, terrible for othe …
