A few days ago, I created this post: ArcGIS Code Sharing website — Upload Scripts link is dead?
https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-questions/arcgis-code-sharing-website-upload-scripts-lin...

If I remember correctly, I think I posted it to the Community Feedback page, since that's where the "Feedback" link on the broken page led me:
https://community.esri.com/t5/community-feedback/bd-p/community-feedback

Today, I went looking for that post in Community Feedback, but couldn't find it there.

After some head scratching, I searched my profile for "ArcGIS Code Sharing website":
https://community.esri.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?advanced=false&allow_punctuation=false&a...

Which shows the post being located in the ArcGIS Online Questions community:
https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-questions/bd-p/arcgis-online-questions

So best guess is my post was moved by a moderator to that different community at some point.

Idea:

When a post is moved to a different community, could the user who created the post be notified of that change? That would help avoid confusion and also let the user know the reason why the post was moved.

As far as I can tell, I didn't get an email notification, private message, or notification in my notifications feed when the post was moved.

When moving a post, there is an option to notify the author of the post, but it is at the bottom of the page and not checked by default. It's likely the person moving it simply did not check that box.

@BlakeTerhune Maybe the "Author of this post" checkbox should be enabled by default.
